The Bridgestone Battlax BT-023 Sport Touring motorcycle tire is designed for heavy touring bikes with engines over 1000cc. As one of the flagship models in the Battlax line, it features almost all of Bridgestone's technological advancements in motorcycle tires.

New Rubber Compound

One of the key innovations is the tread's rubber compound, created using Nano-Pro-Tech technology. This ensures uniform carbon distribution, reducing heat generation. Additionally, the compound includes new-generation polymer compounds and silicon-containing components. This makes the tread more resistant to adverse temperature and abrasive effects, significantly increasing its lifespan. The higher silica content also provides improved traction on wet asphalt.

HTSPC and MS-BELT

These two technological solutions relate to the tire's cord design. It is wound using a single rubber cord with five steel strands inside. The absence of seams, joints, and duplicate layers, combined with a rubber sheath, reduces the tire's weight, improves elasticity, and decreases heat generation, resulting in a longer tire life.

3 Layer Compound

This term translates to "three-layer rubber compound." In practice, it means the tread consists of three longitudinal strips with different rubber compound compositions. The central part of the tread is made from a harder rubber compound, ensuring stable behavior when driving straight. The shoulder areas of the tread contain a softer rubber compound, improving traction when cornering.
