The summer tire Aeolus AG02 Green Ace is one of the novelties of the well-known Chinese manufacturer of truck tires, designed for compact class passenger cars. The size range is represented by types with a mounting diameter of 13 and 14 inches. Among other key features of this model, it is worth noting quite high speed indices T and H, as well as a very long service life.
Original S-shaped tread pattern
The choice in favor of a tread pattern with an S-shaped arrangement of elements is due to several factors, the main ones being reduced rolling resistance and increased resistance to uneven wear. It was these qualities that the manufacturer noted when presenting this model.
5-rib tread pattern structure
All tread elements are distributed over five longitudinal ribs, the central one of which has high structural rigidity. This structure guaranteed the tire excellent directional stability and low rolling resistance at any speed.
High resistance to uneven wear
This tire is distinguished by a very even distribution of external pressure over the contact patch. This was achieved due to a significant increase in the size of the shoulder zones of the tread. In addition, this led to a significant increase in the tire's stability when cornering, as well as when performing other maneuvers associated with a sharp change in the trajectory of movement.
Excellent traction on wet roads
In addition to other advantages, the Aeolus AG02 tire is distinguished by excellent traction on wet roads. Chinese specialists were able to achieve this by equipping the tread pattern with four longitudinal drainage grooves. Their fairly large volume allows them to accommodate a significant amount of water, which is then discharged outside the tread through a system of transverse channels. Additional resistance to aquaplaning is provided by a multitude of straight lamellas located throughout the tread. When in contact with the road, they, opening up, form edges that literally sweep moisture from its surface.
