Belshina Bel-364 is a tyre for special equipment featuring a large-block tread pattern. It is characterised by a combination of massive shoulder traction elements and closely spaced blocks in the centre. This configuration ensures solid support on firm surfaces while maintaining working edges for grip on soil.
Massive blocks in the central area
The central part of the tread consists of large polygonal blocks. These are separated by relatively narrow, winding grooves and occupy a significant portion of the tread surface. The large surface area of each block and the absence of fine siping reduce block movement when transmitting tractive force. This helps maintain stable contact when driving on compacted surfaces.
Prominent shoulder traction elements
Wide blocks with pronounced transverse edges are positioned at the tread edges. When operating on loose ground, these edges provide anchoring in the soil, helping the wheel to deliver traction. The inclined arrangement of the elements enables edges of different orientations to engage, which is beneficial when moving across uneven surfaces and during manoeuvring.
Open transverse channels
Gaps between the shoulder blocks extend to the edges of the tread. Through these gaps, soil can be expelled from the contact area as the wheel rotates. The open channel design facilitates cleaning of the working edges, allowing the tyre tread to maintain grip when transitioning from a hard surface to a looser one.
Key features of Belshina Bel-364
- large central blocks provide an extensive supporting surface on firm ground;
- robust shoulder lugs deliver working edges for transmitting traction on soil;
- multi-directional block faces help maintain grip during manoeuvring;
- open shoulder channels facilitate soil ejection from the tread.
