The Galaxy LDSR 520 tire is designed for mining equipment operated in underground workings and on industrial sites. The model is used on load-haul-dump machines, underground dump trucks, and other specialized equipment that works in the limited space of mines and quarries. The manufacturer positions it as a reliable tire for intensive use under high loads, where the key requirements are strength, stability, and increased resource in an abrasive environment.

Improved traction on rocky terrain

The tire pattern is made using massive blocks and deep treads, optimized for movement on rocky and uneven surfaces. The dense arrangement of tread elements forms a stable contact patch and reduces block mobility, which has a positive effect on handling and even wear. The wide and deep grooves contribute to effective self-cleaning from small rocks and dirt, maintaining traction properties when working on wet and contaminated areas. This configuration also helps to reduce heat generation during long working cycles.

Increased strength

The design is focused on maximum mechanical strength. The high-strength carcass and multi-layer structure increase resistance to punctures, cuts, and impact loads that are inevitable when contacting sharp stone fractions. The thickened sidewalls protect against damage during maneuvers in narrow passages and when touching the walls of workings, ensuring shape stability under high equipment weight.

The compound is selected with consideration of the harsh conditions of mining operations. It is characterized by high resistance to abrasive effects and overheating, which allows increasing the service life and reducing equipment downtime.

Key features of Galaxy LDSR 520:
