The key feature of the tread pattern is the original S-shaped form of the blocks, given by the arrangement of the lamellas. Narrow slits additionally strengthen the traction properties on wet surfaces. The blocks are arranged in such a way that in the contact patch, very extended V-shaped transverse edges are formed.
