The compact crossover Lifan X60 appeared in the lineup of the Chinese manufacturer in 2011 (its announcement took place a year earlier). The car is very similar to the second generation "Toyota RAV 4" in technical terms. This largely contributed to the spread of the model not only in China but also in a number of other countries. The model was produced until 2018, after which it was discontinued and replaced with a more modern variation.Technical Basis
Externally resembling the Japanese crossover, the car had only one 1.8-liter engine under the hood, which produced 133 horsepower and 168 Nm. It was paired with a classic 5-speed manual transmission. Despite its Japanese heritage, the crossover had only front-wheel drive.The advantage of the model was its low price, for which even in the basic configuration, you could get a light sensor, electric windows and mirrors, ABS, 2 airbags. Paying a little more, you could get a mid-range version with a CD player and air conditioning. But the maximum configuration, which was represented by a leather salon, navigator, rearview camera, and parking sensors, heated front seats, heated mirrors, as well as an original multimedia system, was the most popular, including in our country.
During the 2015 restyling, the optics and front radiator grille were slightly modified. The equipment also underwent changes and became more modern. A variator transmission appeared in the power units.
