Under the name Frison, the full-size pickup from the Chinese manufacturer was released for Latin American countries. At the same time, for the domestic market, the model contains only T6 in its name. Introduced in 2015, the pickup reached the Russian sector, albeit only in 2018.Technical Features
The vehicle is equipped with a full-fledged cabin with four doors and five seats. The luggage compartment is represented by a "square" of 1.52x1.52, and the board height is 47 cm. At the same time, the payload capacity is 900 kg.The pickup has features characteristic of classic models from "Ford" — a massive radiator grille, high ground clearance of 216 mm, and the possibility of installing full-wheel drive with a rigid connection of the front axle (in the base, only the rear is available).
Under the hood, two engines are installed: a 2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 177 hp and a 2-liter diesel engine with a power output of 136 hp. They are complemented by a 5-6-speed manual transmission.
The front suspension is independent spring, and a beam with springs is installed at the rear, providing increased payload capacity. Of course, the spring suspension is not distinguished by its comfort, but the vehicle is oriented towards operation in difficult conditions, where it is distinguished by its "endurance" and durability.
Thanks to the assembly in neighboring Kazakhstan, the pickup appeared in our region, although it did not become popular due to competition from "Toyota" and UAZ.
