The subcompact crossover GAC GS3 Power has been present in the production range of the Chinese brand since 2017. It represents the export version of the Trumpchi GS3, designed for markets outside of China. First Generation

The torque value was used in the version designations - 150 and 202 Nm, respectively. In the least powerful versions, the power unit worked in tandem with a 5-speed "mechanics" or a 6-range "automatic" from Aisin. The modification with a turbocharged engine was available only with an automatic transmission.

Second Generation

In late 2022, the Chinese brand introduced the second-generation crossover. It differed significantly from its predecessor, standing out with a large number of polygonal body panels, LED headlights, and pop-out door handles. The R-Style version offered an even more aggressive exterior, with different bumpers, contrasting decorative elements, dual exhaust pipes, and 19-inch discs. The salon stood out with visually combined screens of the instrument panel and multimedia system. The latter had an Adigo operating system of the 5th iteration on board with extensive online capabilities and limited management of the climate control system, which retained some physical buttons on the central tunnel.

In technical terms, the crossover has almost completely lost its connection with the previous model. It was created on a new modular GPMA platform, while retaining the previous layout of the chassis with MacPherson struts at the front and a semi-dependent beam at the rear. The car was again available only with front-wheel drive. The new platform allowed for a significant expansion of the list of electronic assistants, including an adaptive "cruise" with automatic braking function. Under the hood was a row turbocharged "four" with a volume of 1.5 liters, but with an increased return of 169 horsepower and 265 Nm. The power unit worked in tandem with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with a double clutch. As a result, there was a significant increase in dynamic properties - the crossover accelerates to "hundred" in just 7.5 seconds.
