During the Autonavigator tests of 2015 the air temperature on the Hungaroring track rose to 18-23 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the asphalt surface temperature had already exceeded 25 degrees Celsius at the beginning of the tests and reached as high as 37 degrees Celsius by their end. Such changes in conditions were anticipated, and the experts noted that they allowed for an extremely realistic picture of what specific tires were capable of.
