Tyre reviews Windforce Catchfors UHP. Page 26 2248

After a mileage of about 20 thousand, which is from April 22 to August 23, the tread began to peel off. I consider the only plus of these tires to be the price (for 18D). I thought at least two seasons, but alas..

The tire is not bad for its price, but it vibrates at a speed of 120 km/h. I had it balanced twice, but it didn't help. I had it installed at Mosavtoshina and the tire was vibrating, then I went to a different tire shop and they said it was supposedly not balanced properly, but nothing changed. Moreover, the tire is new, purchased 6 weeks ago in 2023.

Poor quality tires, it's better to be present and check the runout when installing, after installation, vibrations started at speeds from 100, I thought it was poorly balanced, returned back, redid it, but it didn't help right away, at Mosavtoshina they said the front tires are faulty, send them to Moscow, I went to another tire shop, they confirmed it, tried to balance, but it also didn't help, I arrived, handed it over for examination, they put new ones on the front for the winter and everything disappeared, the examination took 1.5 months (summer will end soon) after that I received a refusal that according to GOST from 2007 everything is in order, although GOST describes tires with a radius of no more than 16, in general, I do not recommend purchasing, spend more money on balancing

When starting sharply, it does not skid, it holds the road well.
I did not notice aquaplaning, it is moderately noisy, but not critically, regarding wear, I cannot say anything yet, it's a small mileage.
Among the drawbacks, I noticed that stones get stuck in the tread, which I'm not very happy about.
Overall, 4 out of 5.
Accelerated to 190, no vibrations, no imbalance was noticed, it holds well.
During a long trip, I did not observe overheating above 35 degrees.- Vehicle:

Shakes the whole car. We applied for an exchange, but we were offered to bring in the tires and send them for examination. The examination period is up to 20 days, there are no replacement wheels.

The only plus of this tire is that it's quiet, but when it comes to the most important aspects, this tire has nothing to offer. I have a Volvo S60 with 249 horsepower, front-wheel drive, and I can tell you that it skids on turns, and when braking, the ABS kicks in even in extreme conditions. It's only somewhat decent on water when it's just starting to rain, but when the rain picks up, you need to slow down and be careful. But the most important thing is the directional stability, especially when performing a maneuver (I'm referring to the moose test), and God forbid you do it at a speed of over 100 km/h - even with all the systems, it may not save you. I took this tire based on the advice of many of my acquaintances and as an experiment, 235/45/17, not a lot of money (and I realized that they don't understand anything about tires and only drive their cars to and from work), and I didn't get any Chinese-made products for myself.
P/S comparison with the tires I had before (all Michelin lines in this size, Continental Sport, Dunlop, Nokian)

We've driven about 2000km so far, no complaints. Size 235/55 R18 104W Extra Load
During balancing, they said 50/50 balancing - but everything seems okay.
I can't say anything about snow and ice - they're summer tires) Comfortable, not noisy.- Vehicle:

In terms of price-quality ratio, it's just good. They're not super quiet, but even after my previous Japanese and Korean tires, I didn't feel a big difference in favor of the latter. I think if someone had replaced my car's tires without my knowledge, and I didn't know about it, I wouldn't have even noticed that I'm driving on new tires. I read reviews at first, like they're noisier or something, and I was driving on them trying to determine the drawbacks, but honestly, it was hard to do. In short, I'm definitely satisfied, and the price is great, I would buy them again.
