Great tires for the money!

Excellent!

I bought these tires for the off-season, fall/spring. These are my first Chinese tires, and I was a bit wary of putting Chinese-made tires on for the winter.

Trakmax as a manufacturer has been on the market for quite some time compared to other Chinese manufacturers, and I liked the tread pattern (you could say it's all-season, but with small lamellas), the hardness on the "cold tire" is good - winter-like, unlike the similarly priced Sailun. Yes, and in -15°C frost, the tire feels soft to the touch, not stiff. And the price is almost the lowest.

In terms of manufacturing quality, it's excellent: even, minimal imbalance, no smell, pleasant to the touch (and this is an indicator of good tires - for comparison, touch cheap brands). I installed them at the end of February, caught a bit of snow and ice - the acceleration and braking on snow/ice are on par with Hankook or European "second-tier" tires like Sava or Firestone and Matador. Before that, I drove on Lada Dunlop SJ6, on "winter" tires, of course, Dunlop is better, but on dry roads, it fully loses, except for braking - the "Chinese" tire is probably twice as quiet, handles better, and is less prone to rutting. Only in braking does it lose. But Dunlop only had 30% of its tread left, let's see how long Trakmax will last. Thanks

I took this tire as a replacement for the studded Nokian Hakkapeliitta SUV and was a bit skeptical about how it would perform compared to the "brand-name" and studded one. But I read reviews on this site and still took it. And I'll say that I was wrong to doubt, I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent tire for the city and suburbs. It handles well on both wet and dry asphalt. It's generally quiet compared to the Nokian studded tire. Braking is predictable and confident, not like with studded tires. Surprisingly, it grips well on snow and snowy city slush, and holds excellent in turns. It feels good in courtyards when I had to climb through snowdrifts to squeeze into a parking spot. The only thing is that you need to be careful on pure ice, the lack of studs plays a role - but that's only when it comes to emergency braking or so. In all other respects, the tire is super. And a very important factor: four wheels cost almost as much as one Nokian / Michelin / Bridgestone wheel.

Have a good day! The tires are great, the rubber quality is top-notch, on the same level as Nokian and Michelin, but much cheaper, without overpaying for the brand. I drove on Lixuan last winter, for about a month, from late February to early April. It withstands all temperature fluctuations perfectly, doesn't become brittle in the frost, handles the road well, and plows through deep snow as needed.

The tires were very much liked, after reading the ratings from reviews, I felt sorry for the tires. They hold perfectly even on ice, quiet, comfortable.

A fairly decent sample. Expectations were fully justified. Not once during the season did it get stuck, brakes quite adequately. Of course, there are no miracles, the laws of physics are not violated, but with adequate driving, the car remained manageable in all winter modes. It's worth remembering that on real black ice, there can also be lateral skidding. In that case, of course, you need to be more careful, but a similar situation happened to me personally on Michelin and on other cars. One of the four required about twice as many weights for balancing, but it was balanced and it's not a fact that the problem is not with the disks...

Good price-to-quality ratio. The tire is soft and quiet. For winter in central Russia, it's just right. On dry and wet asphalt, it's excellent, on ice it's good (for a studless tire, of course), but on snowy mush, it's not so great, especially handling - strong lateral drift on turns, although predictable.

What a nightmare, all four tires are shot, one of them is even square, can't return due to return conditions. Sold it on Avito for half the price. What a hassle.

Handling on asphalt is just great, no overheating observed. However, on wet snow on asphalt above 40 it's impossible to accelerate, the front end drifts no matter what I do. Braking is predictable and controlled. On loose snow, it's possible to start moving but with a caveat. Suitable for the city of Kursk.
