I bought it in September 2025, my acquaintance had Matador, but due to current events, I bought Russian-made Torero. One of the 4 1000th, i.e. without a gram of balancing, yes, heavier than the same Contic XL2 that was on the car from the salon. The first week I was getting used to it, because it's heavier, i.e. acceleration is not as fast, but then it's great! There is no aquaplaning at all, it holds perfectly on asphalt, enters turns on 5, but I want to emphasize, this is not a highway tire!!! I took it for driving 80/20, and it showed itself very well! On off-road, in principle, you can even put a tractor... This tire works well, self-cleaning is excellent, I didn't use mud grabbers, it grips well on thawed earth! It's moderately stiff, it's not soft, plus! As for winter... there's winter tires, all questions are to them, and to this one - well, on small snow it's possible, further no! In general, I'm satisfied as an elephant!!! I recommend it and I think I'll be buying it further, regardless of wear resistance. The quality just delighted me!!!!

The car is heavy, so I was looking for tires with a strength reserve. I decided that the MP-72 would be perfect for the Sorento. The first kilometers showed that the choice was correct — on the highway, the car confidently goes even with a full load. In the city, the wheels are soft, do not transmit shocks to the steering wheel.

On dirt and gravel, it pulls confidently, without slipping. The noise on the asphalt is average, which is quite expected. I noticed that acceleration has become a bit smoother, without slipping. Well, and according to the results of the season, wear is almost absent, which is pleasing.

Since it is essentially the same Matador MP-72, I can say that this tire unpleasantly surprised me with its weak wear resistance. Over two seasons, which is approximately 20,000 km of mileage (mostly asphalt and gravel - 98% of the mileage), 5 mm of the 10 mm tread has worn off, which is 50%. This is a lot, which means the tires will only last for about 3 seasons. Hardness measurements showed high results - approximately 75-77 units on the Shore scale. With such high hardness, wear is usually not significant, but on the contrary, it is likely due to the rubber compound. I bought the tire for 7,000 rubles in 2022, now it costs almost 10,000, I think it's very expensive for a tire that lasts only two seasons. As for the other parameters, the noise is moderate for AT, it grips well on sand and gravel, quickly gets clogged in mud like all AT tires, in general, nothing unusual. You can buy Cordiant AT with the same result for a lower price.
