I've driven eight seasons on the previous model and can confidently say that these tires are no worse. The previous ones had good handling. They dig into snow perfectly. These tires have more studs than the previous model. New V-shaped tread pattern for water and snow slush evacuation.

Good tire. Comfortable, quiet, predictable. All is well if you drive slowly. When driving a bit more dynamically, there's not enough grip on ice. It slips. Predictably, but it slips and quite early. Before that, I had Hakkapeliitta 7, they lasted 7 seasons, they were stiffer, noisier, but had excellent grip, held perfectly in any conditions. I'm surprised that Pirelli slips so early. But, I repeat, if you drive slowly, everything is fine. However, the next ones I'll install will be Hakkas.
