Size 225/40/18. Front axle of a powerful rear-wheel drive car.
The tire is openly average.
It will undoubtedly meet the needs of any city car, provide comfort and confidence on the highway, but it has no outstanding characteristics.
It's something in between Chinese and good branded tires.
I will compare it to Toyo Proxes TR1.
Braking - approximately the same. Decent. You can be sure that you will stop in time from high speed.
Turns - clearly worse. Where Toyo stuck to the road and provided neutral handling, Pirelli openly wants to understeer.
In wet weather, braking is at the level of Toyo, turns are also worse. Moreover, the skid occurs quite sharply, with a click, unpleasantly.
Wear resistance - surprisingly, also, or even worse, than on Toyo. I haven't even driven half a season, and I can already see how it has worn out. Toyo lasted for 2 seasons, will Pirelli last for 2 seasons - the question is.
The justification of the price is also in question. Pirelli currently costs 8 per tire. And a good branded tire like Bridgestone, Continental, or the same Toyo TR1 costs 10-11. Is this a big difference for a higher level of traction properties? You decide.
In general, it will serve its purpose, but I won't buy it again. Only if there are no normal alternatives (and at the beginning of the year, there weren't any, that's why I chose this tire).- Vehicle:

I bought it considering it's a new product and hoping that Pirelli had made a decent tire. In general, it's an ordinary tire with an overpriced value. It's similar to some Chinese or Cordiant analog, but the price is twice as high. It's very noisy, I had Michelin Pilot Sport 3 before, and in comparison, this one is just complete garbage. The noise on coarse asphalt has simply overwhelmed me.
