Tyre reviews Matador MP-42 Elite 2. Page 2 29
I don't know yet
I apologize for misleading... My previous review, please consider incorrect... I just doubted the integrity of my car's suspension... It turned out that the rear struts were leaking... So I can't say anything about the tires yet... I'll replace the struts, gather some impressions and write. 29-04-2008

Normal tires
I've driven 40,000 km. The front ones, of course, already need to be replaced, the rear ones will still go for 10,000 km, I had no complaints about the tires during operation, they behave well both in dry weather and in rain, and what they say about them is nonsense, I even drove on them in the snow, on Lyuteranskaya, when cars with winter tires were standing, I drove out of there with ease on

Unsatisfactory
I drove 40,000 km in a season on an Octavia - with moderate driving - even the rear tires wore out quite significantly. It's better to take either expensive ones (now I'm driving on Nokian - super) or Rosava (price-quality matches)
Pros: -
Cons: wear,- Control on a dry road

Normal tire, a bit noisy
Driven 20,000 km on it, bought in mid-February, so I've also driven in snow - no issues. What people write about "scary on turns" is probably because they're scared of speed, not the quality of the tires. Quite adequate tire. It also performed well in mud, normal wear.
Pros: Normal
Cons: noisySatisfied
195/70/R14 I've only driven 3500 km so far. Very satisfied. The price/quality ratio seems super to me. It brakes and holds the road well on both wet and dry asphalt. Not noisy. I think the perception of tire noise largely depends on the sound insulation of the cabin.
Pros: Holds the road well, moderately soft and comfortable.
Cons: The sidewall is a bit soft. Needs to be slightly over-inflNot very good
I had them on my 2110, they handled very poorly on turns and on wet asphalt. Before that, I had BI-391, which were much better. The last ones were Conti PremiumContact, and they were great, at 120 km/h in the rain it felt almost like driving on dry asphalt. Don't mislead people into thinking that Matador is a decent tire.

A solid average!!!
Tires are okay, just a bit noisy. Wanted to replace them with Dunlop SP01, but they cost a fortune:((. Will continue to use them and not complain since they're okay in terms of quality and performance!!!
