Tyre reviews Kumho Ecsta HS51. Page 1 557

Citroen C5 from 2009 with hydraulic suspension, size 225/55/17. Prior to this tyre, GoodYear Eagle F1 (fir) was fitted, a terrible tyre, hard, floats, noisy like an airplane. Kumho, of course, is heaven and earth compared to it. It can be compared to Michelin Primacy HP. Excellent ride comfort, quiet enough, soft, small road irregularities are almost imperceptible. The tyre is made for maximum

I was really impressed, excellent. Before I had Michelin Pilot Sport 3, and these are much worse, despite being twice as expensive.

I didn't find any drawbacks. It's my third time with this tire and it's the quietest and most comfortable I've ever had. I've read a lot of reviews and they all say the same thing - comfort and quietness. Yes, it's true. And surprisingly, the car handles nicely too - no "floaty" feeling like you get with very soft tires (like the winter Hakkapeliitta 7 with its very soft sidewall).

Hello! I've been running on this tire for 3 years now. Before, I had Conti 5 - a good tire, but expensive and doesn't last long. With my budget in mind, I bought Kumho Ecsta HS51 195/55 R15 85V made in Korea, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They ride well, are very quiet, soft (very comfortable), and have minimal braking distance, both on dry and wet asphalt. Even on

Good asphalt tire. Balanced well, hold the road, don't drift. I often drive on highways and the sensations are only positive, no noise. In heavy rain and on the numerous ruts we have, there is a risk of aquaplaning, but again at a reduced speed the tire bites again into the surface. Another minus is wet earth. The tread pattern of this tire means it won't grip in the mud and there is a chance of getting stuck.

Bought in early April, after installation, it hummed a bit (either new or it was cold +5 + 7 degrees), otherwise it's fine. Took it to Kuban, drove at 120-160 km/h, all was fine. Drove on a gravel road in a village (small stones get stuck in the tread), but they don't need to be pulled out, they come out on their own after a short asphalt run. They drive well on a wet road,

Previous tyre was Pirelli Cinturato P1 Verde, Kumho has better impact resistance on uneven road, more resistant to lateral cracks.
Excellent handling at high speed.

At the time of writing this review, the mileage is 8000km. The first impressions were bad: noise. But after 500km the tire became quieter and now I only hear the sound of the engine and the wind in the mirrors. I went on vacation with her. It was +10 in St. Petersburg and 0 in Zapolyarny. The tires showed themselves from the best side. There were no problems with rolling and aquaplaning in the rain, although the

I can't say anything about the tires themselves, refused. 215/60/17, delivered to the warehouse within the promised timeframe, but they turned out to be of Chinese production, and most importantly, 2021(!) year of manufacture. I have no complaints against the managers, as it were, they honestly said that they didn't know what they would deliver, but still, selling five-year-old tires...
