I purchased these tires in late winter 2024 in Moscow and they have been in use since mid-May. I initially considered the Maxxis AT, but after checking, it seemed flimsy. The Kumo surprised me with its stiffness. My vehicle is heavy and drives on terrible roads, not on highways. Here's what I got: I will compare them to the Toyo Open Country AT+, of which I have used two sets. The Korean tires only got balanced properly after the second attempt and stopped pulling on the steering wheel. There is still some pulling to the side, but it seems to be diminishing. I haven't rotated the wheels yet. On the highway, the car drives at 120-140 km/h without any issues. There are no questions about that. On ruined roads, it can go up to 100 km/h, and there's no difference compared to the Japanese tires. Gravel roads after rain are normal. On gravel, it feels like it's floating, but more on that later. It's noticeably worse than the Toyo when it comes to water obstacles. Wet asphalt seems fine, but it's better not to drive into puddles. The Toyo used to splash water all over the hood and sides, but this car just floats. What I categorically dislike is that on gravel, it sucks up stones like a vacuum cleaner. It hits my arches and thresholds, gets stuck, and doesn't come out on its own. By the middle of my trip from Voronezh to Moscow, the stones were gone. In the city, I drove over curbs and sometimes pulled out large stones. I'm afraid for my fellow drivers. In general, my conclusion for now is that you shouldn't try to be better than the Japanese. Maybe it's just the Vietnamese-made Kumo that has these problems, but not the Korean one. Yes, the Geolander scared me off with its Russian production. Maybe my opinion was wrong. I hope this review helps someone. Smooth roads to us all!

I bought tires in mosavmashine in size 275/65R18. I chose for a long time, I doubted, because there are very few reviews about them. Balanced with a minimum load of 30 grams, maximum 65 grams. I will compare them with TOYO OPEN COUNTRY and Nokian Outpost AT 275/65 R18 tires, on which I drove for more than three years. Kumho tires are soft, similar to Nokian, and similar in all characteristics. It passes potholes perfectly, softly, and also gravel, and on the highway at 130-140 km/h it goes well and predictably. As for aquaplaning, it's also not bad at a speed of 100 km/h, puddles about 8-10 cm deep pass normally. For SUVs, I can say that this is an excellent tire, of course, not a premium segment, but I can recommend it for purchase.

I replaced the stock highway tire with AT52 and drove 19,000 km on it in one season. Previously, I drove on AT tires from Goodyear, Hankook, and Nexen. Overall conclusion: AT52 is the most road-oriented among them. I liked: very quiet, good wear resistance, good handling (the sidewall does not collapse, the tire is stiff), good braking, and good behavior at high speeds. I didn't like: average resistance to aquaplaning (you need to remember not to fly over deep puddles), average off-road capabilities (it's better not to drive into mud without a reason), the tread picks up stones and they don't self-clean well (in this regard, Goodyear's AT is simply unbeatable), and at "minus" temperatures, the tire's grip properties leave much to be desired (I would not recommend it for winter at all).

Result: for its price, it's not bad tires if you drive mostly on asphalt and only occasionally go off-road. If off-road driving is your thing, then it's either MT or looking for AT from another manufacturer.

And yes, made in Vietnam, was fresh. At the time of receiving the order, 2 months had not passed from the factory.

I bought these tires in Mosaavtomashin, size 265/65R18. I was choosing tires for my car, and there were no reviews about this model. In the tire shop, they said that for such a tire, it's normal to inflate from 70 grams to 25 grams, so they inflated it to that range. I will compare them to the Nokian Outpost AT tires, on which I drove about 50,000 km. Kumho tires may be slightly worse than Nokian in some characteristics, but overall, they are about the same, except that in mud, Nokian Outpost AT performs better. At a speed of 120-140 km/h, they behave predictably, but I don't drive aggressively. Everyone writes about aquaplaning, and I can say that it's within reasonable limits, but slightly worse than Nokian Outpost AT. The wear on these tires is also about 10% more than on Outpost AT. In conclusion, for all-wheel drive cars, this is a good tire, especially considering the price.

One of the best AT tires in terms of beauty-brutality-quietness. In terms of noise, they are the same as Yokohama Geolandar AT G015, i.e. low noise, but in terms of appearance and brutality, Yokohama looks like a regular highway tire compared to Kumho. Kumho is more square and looks much better. They were balanced perfectly. The tread is just great - it's a dried-up desert. If you need an AT tire for 70-90% city and highway, and 30-10% off-road, there's no better option. Yes, BFGoodrich is cool, but they are very noisy in the city. Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus isn't even worth considering - the quality, wear resistance, and handling at high speeds are mediocre. And most importantly, Kumho is currently dumping prices and the price is intentionally lowered to capture the AT market. Previously, the price was around 20 thousand per tire.

Hello everyone, I came across a set of Kumho Road Venture AT52 tires at a good price, 275/65 R18 116T. The Kumho Road Venture AT52 tire is a versatile tire for various off-road vehicles, effective on any road surface, primarily on dirt roads. It is distinguished by its reliability in difficult conditions, comfort of handling, smooth ride, fuel efficiency, resistance to wear and punctures. The tires are strong, the sidewall is moderately stiff, as it should be on an off-road vehicle, and the tire itself is similar in softness and characteristics to the Nokian Outpost AT (I drove on it for three years). The weight of the Kumho Road Venture AT52 275/65 R18 tire is 21.5 kg, and the Nokian Outpost 275/65 R18 weighed 21 kg. The tread is good, the water drainage is normal, and the mud grips are also real, not just painted on. I can confidently recommend this tire for off-road vehicles.

Good day to everyone. This model is quite new on the Russian market. I couldn't find a single Russian-language video review of this tire (except for brief shorts). I bought a new Niva 3D Urban Legend for myself and wanted to install not just something practical, but also beautiful. The tread of this tire really impressed me visually (the effect of dry land). I decided to make a purchase, but I understood that I was essentially buying a cat in a bag. After driving 1500 km on this tire, I can say the following:
1) The tire is comfortable and very quiet for an AT tire;
2) I drove on mud (without fanaticism) and it was excellent;
3) Dirt roads and similar off-road conditions were excellent;
4) Dry and wet asphalt were excellent (although I read a comment here that it's supposedly afraid of wet asphalt);
5) Aquaplaning - I didn't manage to lose traction on the highway in large puddles, but in the city at a speed of 80 km/h, I deliberately drove into a puddle to check, and the car didn't budge!

In general, I'm satisfied with the tire!

P.S. I saw a blogger girl's measurements of tire hardness in shore units - something around 65 units, which means the tire is only for warm weather, so take winter tires for winter, don't risk it.

Its price is excellent, the tire. Quite an aggressive tread, to the touch soft, not rigid.
