Tyre reviews Kumho Road Venture APT KL51. Page 1 63

The tire is quite soft. It ran quietly for about 20,000 km, but it did tend to float a bit in corners. As it wore out, the uncertain behavior in corners went away (the soft outer edges wore off), but a loud noise developed, very similar to the noise of a wheel bearing, but on both sides. I started investigating why, and it turned out that every third element of the tread pattern's outer section was a bit longer than the other two, and as

Nissan Patrol 2013, 231HP. Not listed in the catalog, but I bought Kumho tires, didn't feel any difference. Passed 30,000 km, no wear. It's a bit noisy on a coarse asphalt, but other than that everything is great. I like the price. I've been using Kumho tires for a long time – I've already changed 3 sets on different cars.

The tyre performed well from the end of April up to now. It handles well in the rain (heavy downpour). It feels secure when entering a turn at speed. It is quiet. It is wear resistant. It balanced easily. It handles light off-road terrain (dirt road) as if it were a dry highway. I'm very satisfied with this tyre.

Even in the snow, it's pretty decent for city driving in the winter without studs. I went out to a smooth parking lot, practiced drifting - it gets out of the drift nicely. But speeds over 80 on ice, that's not what they're for. The braking distance is surprisingly short. It doesn't lock up, it just stops dead.

On a hard-surface road and a dirt road, it's not bad at all... On gravel, it's dangerous....

Excellent tire. Ran on a car when bought, drove 80,000 km on it. Smoothed down to cords on one wheel, ran for 5+ years. Mainly driven on highway, soft, good braking, and holds the road well.

I was hesitant to make the switch, having spent 140,000 km on two sets of Pirelli Scorpion Asymmetric tires. They balanced well, made no noise, and most importantly, the tire didn't squeal on lane changes or asphalt transitions, which had become a stressful experience, waiting for the car to pull to one side. This is the beauty of asymmetry! Now, I confidently drive over rumpled humps and don't worry about the car pulling in one direction...

Over-inflation of the tire causes the belt to rupture, which causes the tire to vibrate or "beat".
