Tyre reviews Ikon Nordman 7 SUV. Page 1 453

In early February, I lost one of the Continental wheels, which are no longer produced.
The tire is old, from the last season, so I'm not too sorry about it.
I chose Ikon, first of all, because it's a former Nokian, and secondly, it's made in Russia, so I won't have any problems buying new wheels.
People were scaring me that it's not the same quality and that nothing good can be made in Russia, but it's hard to scare me, I've been driving on Lukoil oil for 8 years, so I'm not afraid of Russian products :)
I haven't driven on deep snow yet, but on asphalt, ice, and puddles - it's amazing. The tire is either quieter than the Continental or at least not louder. The steering is predictable, the braking is too, it holds on to ice and doesn't pull anywhere (four-wheel drive). At speeds up to 120, it's almost as quiet as the summer AT tire Outpost, which I was forced to drive on while waiting for the tires to arrive and the wheels to be painted.
I'm very pleased, and it seems that I have a new favorite among winter tires.

Excellent tires. Size 235/65/18. At first, the studs make a lot of noise. After a thousand kilometers, they settle in and the noise decreases significantly. On ice, it brakes beautifully, ABS doesn't engage if you don't press the brake pedal too hard. It pulls slightly in ruts. But overall, stability and handling are quite predictable. It holds 180 km/h very well. Haven't had a chance to try it in deep snow yet. Very soft, doesn't feel any seams, stitches, or unevenness on the road. Responds clearly to the steering wheel. When turning on ice with a sharp gas pedal, the front-wheel drive pulls in the direction the wheel is turned, no loss of axis to the outside))) I recommend purchasing.

They hold sufficiently well on snow and ice. Not much worse on a wet road. In terms of speed, it's also normal, but they are a bit noisy at speeds above 140-150. Considering the "light" winter, driving mainly on asphalt - by the end of the season, the studs are all in place with almost no wear.

First season in use, really like the tire grip on the road, especially noticeable when turning on a slippery road. I recommend!

The tires are excellent, they don't make noise. On dry, wet and snowy roads, they perform confidently. I had Michelin tires before them and didn't notice any difference in handling.

The tires are not bad for their price. There are some nuances, but they cope with the task quite well. On snow, they grip quite confidently. On ice, they are also not bad, but they tend to skid a bit in turns. In my opinion, the studs are a bit small in size and don't grip the ice well enough, especially when the car is heavy. Overall, the tires deserve attention and justify their price.

Excellent tires, they hold the road in both dry snow and "slush". On ice, the car on Icon tires also feels confident.

A good tire, holds the road well, no excessive noise, brakes decently, haven't noticed aquaplaning, studs are all intact. I live out of town, have to drive on icy hills to get to the city every morning, so after an accident I bought studded tires for myself, previously I only used non-studded ones. Satisfied
