After purchasing the Niva, I inherited strongly worn-out tires (tread height less than 5 mm), the tread pattern looks nice, they are durable (there was only one puncture, and that's because of a nail, not because of the tire's quality). Perhaps, as off-road tires, they are good, but I couldn't evaluate them properly due to the wear. However, as road tires, I assessed them, and over one season, I had to change them three times, and drifting onto the shoulder became a common and mastered maneuver. The problem is that they brake poorly on dry asphalt, and on wet surfaces, they skid uncontrollably. After winter, remembering the exploits of the previous summer, I didn't bother to change the wheels and continued driving on the old, but indestructible Amtele tires, which I never regretted. After these tires, I approach off-road tires with caution, I understand that off-road tires are not meant for road use and shouldn't brake well, but not to this extent.
