Tyre reviews Falken Espia epz. Страница 1 11

Considering the prices in 2022, I decided to try something new but cheaper. I bought used winter tires Falken Espia EPZ (185/65 R15) with 5% wear. The region of operation is the Primorsky Krai (in one winter, there can be both heavy snowfalls and not weak rain with snow at the beginning/end of the period). My driving style is almost aggressive (I'm always in a hurry). The vehicle is a Toyota Corolla sedan. The period of operation was almost 6 months (it just turned out that way), with a mileage of 60,000 km on city roads, highways, and dirt roads on "high tones". The tires performed perfectly. I never got stuck, and when rocking out of snowdrifts, it took only a minute. The tires never failed me with poor traction when braking or "planing" at intersections or on highways. The maximum speed index of these tires is up to 160 km/h, which initially concerned me since I drive quite fast. I didn't dare to exceed 160 km/h, but even at 150 km/h, the tires behaved normally. Our roads are "bad", so even after repeatedly hitting potholes at high speed in new places, I didn't find a single blister on the tire. As for noise, I personally didn't notice any excessive noise. While choosing summer tires, I drove until April 30. On that day, there was a decent rain. I had to drive urgently to Ussuriysk. The tires performed very well! The highway was flooded in some places, the temperature was naturally positive, and the speed was 120-130 km/h (I didn't dare to go faster). When entering smooth turns, I didn't even reduce speed because there was no aquaplaning, and the braking was no worse than that of well-known Japanese tires. So, I personally liked the tires. At the same time, the wear turned out to be almost imperceptible, and it's hardly visible!

Three winter seasons of daily driving, I took a new one (not used, been 4 seasons in Japan, see review above), used in urban winter conditions - snow, sometimes ice, sometimes a highway to Moscow or St. Petersburg, in all respects (having driven since 1995) very good, better than this one was only Nokian. Do not gas on packed snow and ice, no spindrift (ABS will not work then, this is for simpletons posting above).

Noisy.
A bit of ice, a small hump – and it’s like a bald summer tire.
Amazed. Didn’t expect it. A 2014 Japanese tyre with wear of less than 5% on the tread.- Vehicle:
