An excellent budget tire. Very comfortable, much softer and quieter than Kumho summer tires. Drives without problems on any winter roads, high cross-country ability, excellent directional stability, on bare ice, of course, you need to be more careful (but this is a feature of all studded tires). I won't comment on wear, I've driven about 5,000 km so far. Previously, on different cars, I had about 7 different brands of studded tires, this tire is no worse than the renowned brands. I recommend purchasing.

Tires are beating, not balancing (100 grams of cargo were hung on each side), no use, balanced 3 times, rotated, rebalanced, pumped with pressure at Mosavtoshina - applied to another service - they say it's not a smooth cord, visually visible on the stand when rotating. Got tired of playing - installed tires of a different brand, like a magic hand - no vibration, no beating. Sent Doublestar tires to Mosavtoshina for an expert examination (quality check) on some super machine - the result is excellent tires, no defects found, beating is within normal limits, maximum load per side 30g.

They (tires) were balanced well. In the +1 size, they are stiffer than the summer Laufernn, and at the same time, the steering has become lighter. Also, at the tire mounting service, I noticed that the sidewall of the DW08 is much stiffer than that of my summer tires. I bought Doublestar Winterking DW08 tires in size 225/45 R18 for testing, as I thought they were sold with a one-year manufacturer's warranty and should be of decent quality. Overall, the tires are not bad, quiet, and soft, but they become unmanageable after 60 km/h - it's like driving on plasticine on the highway, and I'm not even talking about inexperienced drivers who may not be able to handle them. The tires were balanced, but out of the four, one is square and simply bounces. My advice is to just buy slightly more expensive tires from manufacturers that have been on the market for a long time.

I've already spent more money on balancing than I would have if I had just bought tried-and-true tire brands.

It's better not to save money. These tires are only suitable for old Ladas, and even then, not the latest models.

Excellent tires! There's something to compare with. Last year I had new Hankook, these are much better. Very quiet, good road holding, excellent braking, excellent on puddles, excellent on snow, on ice like all the others.

Excellent tires. Soft, quiet, grip, hold the road. Bought for the second time, the first on Mazda 6. Drove the previous winter, remained satisfied, changed the car, bought the same tires for winter, different size. Same satisfaction.

I was pleasantly surprised that on snow, with four-wheel drive, they behave like on asphalt. No wheelspin, even with my 215 horsepower. But ice with water still requires more caution.
