Hello everyone. What can I say about this tire? I bought it in the summer of 2020 (08.06.2020). The price and positive reviews caught my attention. Yes, it's quite quiet. Yes, it doesn't mind puddles. Yes, it was balanced with minimal weights. This surprised the tire fitters: "What kind of tire is this? Chinese? Never heard of it. How well it was balanced, no more than 15 on each side". They put it on my car and I drove to St. Petersburg (900 km). In St. Petersburg, I had it balanced again. The answer was: Radial runout on all wheels (I'm not sure about the term, but the point is that the wheels are oval). They did something, tapped something, rebalanced something. It seemed to be fixed. I continued driving. The vibration was annoying, but not bothersome. In the spring of 2022, when switching from winter to summer tires, I put the front tires on the back, as the driving wheels were worn out by about half (this is about durability - the tire is soft). Then, on the road, I discovered a pretty good vibration at 100 km/h. After visiting two tire shops, I was given a verdict: all 4 wheels are not very good - each has an "eight" (the disks are even, though), and I need to replace all 4. I'm searching...

Maybe I just got a bad batch. Maybe it's the "even" roads of the Vologda region. Maybe something else...

I can confirm all the reviews about this tire (noise, aquaplaning, durability, etc.). But to have an "eight" on each wheel after only 16-18 thousand kilometers...

P.S. I ordered a different Chinese tire for a relative at the same time, and they're driving on the same roads and are very happy. I've sat in the driver's seat - in my opinion, it's better than DoubleStar. It looks like I'll be ordering it for myself. And I won't be getting DoubleStar again.

It's just terrible.. it's impossible to drive on this tire, vibration after 100, the steering wheel, body, and so on, every bump and the steering wheel pulls to the side, every pothole and the steering wheel pulls to the side, do not buy this tire.

Unexpectedly great tire. Bought more as an experiment, reviews won over. Never regretted it! Balanced in a couple of minutes, holds the road beautifully, aquaplaning is almost non-existent. Prior to this, I was always on Michelin. In terms of feel, Doublestar is both quieter and softer. In general, the Chinese brothers have once again demonstrated that they know how to do well, both in terms of quality and price.

I bought the Doublestar DU01 225/50 R17 94V model for 3450 rubles. As of March 23, 2020, I have driven about 15,000 km and I'll tell you honestly, the tires surprised me in the best way, they balanced well, more than 20g, no additional weights were needed, they handle the road well both in dry and wet conditions, I have no complaints, they confidently drive through large puddles and also confidently brake. China surprised me, I recommend taking a closer look at this model)
