I was looking for options in the native Kia Ceed JD size of 225/45 R17. I accidentally stumbled upon Davanti Protoura Sport 225/45 ZR17 94Y FR at Mosavtoshina. Initially, I didn't know anything about this brand. I started studying reviews on the internet - the overwhelming majority turned out to be positive. At the time of purchase, with discounts, the price of one tire turned out to be 4,840 rubles (19,360 for 4 pieces). Considering how much analogs of more well-known brands cost, the price turned out to be more than interesting. Before the purchase, I drove on Hankook 15 radius tires with a 65 profile. I thought that switching to 17 would be very harsh, but the tires turned out to be quite soft and I didn't feel much difference (well, maybe only on some very sharp transitions, like new asphalt without a coating transition). I've already driven into fairly deep potholes a couple of times, I thought I'd caught a puncture, but no - everything is fine, the tires withstood it. I drive within the rules and do not exceed the established speed limit, in such a mode of operation, I am more than satisfied with the tread characteristics. They hold well in the rain, I haven't encountered aquaplaning. As for noise - they are average, not loud, but not quiet either.

I'm 100% satisfied. Well, what can I say? The price is at the lower end of the market, but the quality is on par with well-known brands. The trip from Volgograd to Perm and back showed its best side. On hot asphalt, it doesn't float. In the rain, there's no aquaplaning. It's a bit noisy at 80, but if you accelerate a bit, the noise disappears. There are many advantages, starting with the price. Let's see how long it will last. In general, I recommend it! Yes, by the way, it doesn't smell like sport at all, to be honest. This is a typical ultra-high-performance tire. That's all! After purchasing, after a couple of thousand kilometers, they started to beat, after checking, it turned out to be a factory defect on all 4 wheels. I do not recommend.

When I got behind the wheel and drove on the new tires, I realized that I liked them. I'm not an extreme driver and I don't take turns at high speed. I don't drive through deep puddles or off-road. I drive fairly calmly and respect the traffic rules.

Based on my internal feelings, this tire model seems to be quite quiet. At least on the highway with the windows open at a speed of 90-110, the tires are quieter, and when moving, I didn't feel any difference in the car's reaction, everything is the same as with Bridgestone, just quieter.

I would like to address the site administration, how am I supposed to rate "snow handling" for summer tires??

I bought these 235/45ZR18 tires based on reviews, I've never driven on Chinese tires before, but with this price category, there was no other choice! So, I've been driving for 25 years, I've driven dozens of tires, since I drive on tires for a season and then sell them, add to them and buy new ones.

There's no discussion about rim protection here, the handling is very mediocre, the tire sidewalls are soft (usually with the ZR marking, they are more rigid). It feels like a mixture of rubber and plastic, on wet pavement, it behaves not bad, until you hit a marking, wet marking becomes ice for them, by the way, with dry marking, I would also recommend being careful. The plus in these tires is good water drainage, not bad but mediocre handling on dry pavement and minimal noise from the tires!

At first it was very noisy, but after 1000 km on the highway, the tire wore in and became quite quiet. As for the stiffness of the tire, I initially didn't worry, but everything turned out even better than expected. A very solid sidewall that provides good grip in corners and doesn't tilt. Also, many times I hit asphalt joints at high speed and no bulges appeared.

In general, if you're looking for inexpensive tires with good driving characteristics that will behave predictably in the rain, take a closer look at these.

I drive fast, sometimes turn off the stabilization system. It slightly pulls the rear of the car when accelerating without stabilization, but again - any tire would behave like that, so it's hard to call it a minus. It's balanced without problems. Surprisingly, the tire is durable, I had Goodyear before, by this mileage a bulge had already appeared, with Davanti everything is fine, the wear corresponds to the mileage. I'm satisfied, will buy again.
