An objective review for those looking for tires on an energetic car.
Astra H OPC 300+hp/500 Nm, 235/40 R18
I'll start by saying that the "sports" affiliation of this tire is only in its name.
In fact, it's a purely civilian model: a soft compound mixture, a soft sidewall, and a treadwear rating of 400. These factors don't provide either good traction, or sticky handling, or predictable braking.
Now, in order:
1) grip on dry pavement from a standstill - average, while driving - acceptable. On wet pavement - very good.
2) handling is quite vague, since the tire itself (as I wrote above) is too civilian. In turns, there's more than normal understeer and swinging, and during sharp lane changes, there's no feeling of reliability on the trajectory.
3) braking: two points out of five. During sufficiently sharp deceleration from speeds of 120+ (not even emergency braking), it squeals/screeches and the ABS works hard.
4) there are questions about the quality of manufacturing (or storage?): when assembled, one tire turned out to be crooked, with a geometric protrusion in the central part of the tread. As a result, it slightly pulls the steering wheel at highway speeds.
Among the advantages for the general public: quiet, comfortable.
In conclusion: for vegetable cars with a moderate driving style - not a bad choice in the lower price range, for drivers with a claim to superiority over the flow - not recommended.

Installed the summer wide tire set on the rear-wheel drive BMW 335i after Pirelli P Zero.
Did not notice any difference with expensive Pirellis. The tire is much quieter than it is claimed and holds the road much better against aquaplaning than I expected.

Ran just 500km no more. Felt much quieter in the car. Good braking. Outside they look very similar to Michelins - even have the velvet sidewall. Rating: five.

I've tried different tires such as Continental and Michelin Pilot Sport, but due to certain events, the prices for those brands were unreasonably high. I came across Davanti tires, but my required parameters were not available (the manager at Mosavtoshina said that the parameters I needed were on the way). After waiting for 3 weeks, I received a message that my set was available and I picked it up. I can say that the 3-week wait was worth it, the tires are really good. Having driven a couple of thousand kilometers in different driving styles and weather conditions, I can say that they are not inferior to the above-mentioned brands and no difference was noticed, so why pay more? They hold confidently, are superb in the rain, and it's comfortable to drive on them with a 35 profile. No significant wear was noticed during aggressive driving. Overall, their behavior is predictable. Also, during this time, I managed to drive on a deflated tire (due to a removable disk, it was punctured through the sealant), hit potholes, and drove on sharp gravel (including on a deflated tire), and considering all these abuses, no bulges or cuts were found. For an active driving style, I definitely recommend! I decided to write about my debut purchase of Chinese tires, size 234/45/18
Before them, I was driving on Continental PremiumContact6
But the Continental was in size 225/40/18
It seemed loud and my wife complained that she couldn't relax on the highway - the tread pattern was noticeable.
Although I had no complaints about the driving characteristics.
And visually, this size seemed like a "tablet"
I bought Davanti on March 12th
I paid 40440 for the set
Then they became even more expensive
I thought I was lucky to have taken them
At the time of writing this review, they cost 29400 for the set
For this price, it's still the best value for money
In terms of driving properties
I drive at 160-180
They handle turns great
The tread pattern noise is gone
They are softer than the Continental
I drive over joint seams and speed bumps more smoothly (I think the higher profile is also a plus here)
The emergency braking from 140 was very pleasantly surprising - no squealing, no skidding

I'd like to point out the great characteristics of the tyre at this price, I can even say that the tyre is more durable than Michelin Pilot PS4 and more comfortable than Ovation tyres.

The only minus I could note is a poor balance of one of the four tyres, that is about 90 grams. I did not notice any other minuses, everything is fine and I plan to buy more of them. Recommended for Drive2 subscribers.

I’ve been driving for a little over a month now and I can confidently say that the price to quality ratio is perfect, they balance out really well (considering my worn out stamped wheel) and are also super soft on the ride (considering I soundproofed my car). I haven’t seen any downsides yet, everything is great. I will buy more and I will definitely recommend them to my friends.
