Not for racing!!!
Can only be used for 2 seasons (then a sharp decline in characteristics)!!!
Its advantages are short braking distances on any surfaces, excellent traction and handling, but all of this is only up to a speed of 80 km/h, on a track up to 90 km/h.
Ideal for the city: slush, thaw, ice, snow (all at low speeds).

I bought a Polara 2 instead of a worn-out Metelitsa. I immediately felt the difference. The braking distance became predictable, holding the road excellently. They grip well on the snow. The quality is excellent.

Installed Cordian Polar 2 winter tires on my Lancer last year. Rode for the whole winter without any issues, in the snow and on slush. Holds the road well. Drove both in the city and in the countryside. Excellent tires. Removed them in the spring, will put them back on again soon, wear is not too great, so they'll be good for this winter as well.

I've already bought a car with this kind of tire. Overall, I didn't notice much difference from the first Polara. The same tendency to slide on ice, but it behaves like a tractor on snow. The worse is with the studs on the first Polara, I lost so many studs on the driving wheels, about 15-20% were gone, and on the driven wheels I lost one.

For the budget option, the tire is quite normal. In the balancing, all four wheels showed different results. I added 5 grams to one, 30 grams to another, and 15 grams to the other two. It starts, rides, and brakes confidently at 4/4 on snow, and I haven't driven on slush yet. Noise level is 3, or 3 with a dash, but I hope it will quiet down a bit after a break-in. It doesn

The owner of the Prius in the top comment rated the tyres as rubbish and said that your expensive car was complete rubbish and that it was only suitable for tyres like the Continental Elite. I, however, base my purchasing decisions on price and quality. I previously had Bridgestone tyres and they were exactly the same as the Continentals but cost almost three times as much.

Good tires, don't listen to school kids writing about their feelings from riding in the passenger seat. It's very good at handling snow, and it seems to be okay on ice too. The handling on icy and snowy roads is predictable, the braking is good, and for a calm driving style, it's quite sufficient, and it's foolish to speed in winter. The downside is the noise on asphalt.
