Tyre reviews Achilles Desert Hawk UHP. Page 1 56

Received an order on May 27, 2019 in the region. The tires looked good quality, but upon mounting and balancing all four wheels, hidden defects became apparent, the tyres' circumference was uneven, and the car was "jumping" during the test drive. Mosavtoschina accepted my claim, but has not reacted in any way. I will be going to court. Be more careful when choosing these tyres.

I DIDNT BELIEVE AND HESITATED TO CHOOSE!!! Installed 285/50/20 on the Fultz in replacement of the summer Pirelli. All started with tire mounting, want to turn or not, the load on Pirelli is from 80 to 120 grams on the wheel, maximum 60 grams on Achilles. Price is 1/2. Passed 20000 km over the summer, wear 10%. Holds the road, brakes perfectly on

I got caught up in the promotion, bought them, installed them, went on a trip, and it vibrated from 100 to 140 km/h, both front and rear. After 1000 km of balancing, it got better. Out of the four tires, only one showed a load of 15 kg, while the others were around or over 100 kg. I wouldn't get such a deal again, it's better to pay more.

Certainly, there are still many out there with a lot of tread left, and they look good. Best deal I could find, would definitely buy again.

I got the Achilles Desert Hawk UHP 275/45 R20 110V new along with the car in the fall of 2020. I was very surprised. I was going to change the tires to my usual Conti or Michelin right away, but after driving for a week, I put off buying other tires. I drove the 2021 season. The tires surprised me. I'd say they surprised me not just at the level of Chinese tires, but in comparison to what I consider "normal" tires. They handle aquaplaning very well. They are stable on wet roads. At speeds of up to 240, they work as they should without extra noise. The braking distance, of course, is not like Conti, but by feel, it's not worse than Dunlop. The main thing is that they don't float in the heat. BUT there is a nuance - in the summer, I rebalanced them, as vibrations started at 120-130. When balancing, the weights are not 5-10 grams like on Conti, but 30-40. At the price of a set, the cost of one wheel is very good tires. I took new Michelin for 2022 not so much because of dissatisfaction with Achilles, but because of the rise in tire prices and the overall "show-off" factor - somehow, tires with an unfamiliar name don't fit on a Q7. At least in my mind, and for now.

I decided to replace the standard tire with this brand, having read good reviews, I ordered it. Upon receiving it, I noticed that the tire is covered in some kind of preservative or has a special composition, and it gets dirty and sticky. I washed it with a soapy sponge on the car wash. On smooth surfaces, the tire is rough, giving me the impression of a poorly made product. The balance test showed 2 wheels at 25-40, and 2 wheels at

A perfect tire for asphalt, took a 265/50R20 size. But I drove on dirt roads, shoulders, etc. In the end, one of the tires couldn't handle it and started to delaminate right in the middle, apparently, it got cut by the gravel and a piece was sliced off like a knife. Suitable for those who strictly drive on asphalt.

Good value for money. I do not recommend for any off-road except sand. Does well on sand. Started to vibrate at 85-90 km/h after 50,000 km, but grip still excellent.
