New from Bridgestone: Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus
03 april 2012
The American division of the Japanese corporation Bridgestone has recently updated the line of Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus and Firestone Destination tires, which are very popular in the United States. Both tires were tested on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway track.
In the company's official press release, it is noted that the models have become the successors to these lines of tires and possess all the qualities inherent to the other tires in the series, plus their own characteristic features. Thus, the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus has absorbed such positive characteristics from the other tires in the Serenity series as acoustic comfort, wear resistance, and good traction on wet surfaces. At the same time, the ride quality in "winter conditions" and fuel efficiency have been improved compared to its predecessors. Additionally, the warranty mileage of the tire has been increased - it is 40,000 km more than the previous model and is 120,000 km. This model will go on sale in early summer.
The second novelty, the Firestone Destination LE2, according to the manufacturer, has absorbed all the best characteristics of its predecessor tires and improved them. Thus, rolling resistance has been reduced by fifteen percent, which allowed for an even greater reduction in fuel consumption for an already economical tire (this is evidenced by the Eco-Product symbol); the comfort and acoustic comfort of the ride have increased. This tire will go on sale a bit earlier - it will appear on the market in May.
