Description Yokohama Advan A13
The Yokohama Advan A13 summer tire is installed on the most powerful modifications of passenger cars. It demonstrates the greatest efficiency at high speeds and dynamic maneuvering, distinguished by its sporty refined handling and exceptional stability of coupling even on a wet surface.
The tread pattern is made in a fairly aggressive design with massive elements. The dual wide rib, due to its monolithic structure, increases directional stability and accuracy in handling at high speeds, reduces rolling resistance, and, interacting with large blocks in the shoulder areas, prevents uneven wear during maneuvering. The longitudinal water-dispelling grooves are significantly enlarged. This minimizes the risk of hydroplaning even at high speeds. The dual blocks in the shoulder areas improve stability in gentle turns and sharp maneuvering.
Main features:
- the dual rib in the middle increases the accuracy of handling and directional stability at high speeds;
- large blocks in the shoulder areas prevent lateral slipping during maneuvering, reduce the length of the braking distance on a wet surface;
- enlarged longitudinal grooves effectively combat aquaplaning at high speeds.
