The Windforce Snowpower UHP winter tire is designed with consideration for the climatic conditions of European countries with their quite specific "warm" winters. It is distinguished by improved traction on wet and snowy road surfaces, precision handling, and directional stability at high speeds.

The tread pattern is asymmetric and divided into several functional areas, which gives the tire balanced driving characteristics regardless of road conditions. Another important design feature is the large number of wavy sipes. The transverse orientation of the grooves provides the tire with excellent longitudinal traction on wet surfaces and rolled-out snowy surfaces with a mirror-like gloss. On dry surfaces, effectiveness is ensured by the significant useful area of the tread, which is dominated by large and deformation-resistant elements, primarily shoulder blocks.
