The Windforce Catchfors H/P summer tire is designed for crossovers and SUVs that are primarily used on paved roads. Structurally, it is a "passenger" model of the Ultra High Performance category, adapted for use in passenger cars with all-wheel drive transmission and a high center of mass.
The tread pattern has a closed design with an asymmetrical dense arrangement of elements. Together with the optimized profile of the entire tread, this increases the contact patch, enhancing grip and improving handling on dry pavement. When maneuvering, stability is provided by the stiffness and massive size of the blocks on the edges of the tread. When braking, these elements, due to their elongated transverse edges, increase the intensity of deceleration.
