WestLake SW628 – winter tire for a wide range of passenger cars. It is characterized by resistance to slipping, efficient speed handling, and quick cleaning of the contact area.
The model was developed using modern simulation methods, which ensures optimization of the arrangement of block and rib structures. Its tread features an asymmetrical non-directional pattern. The inner part of the tread, equipped with a large number of three-dimensional lamellas, is responsible for stability on winter roads, increasing traction on icy or snowy roads. The outer part is designed to stabilize the vehicle during maneuvering. The presence of a large number of grooves and several deep central channels helps to maintain the cleanliness of the contact area, removing slush, water, and dirt from it.
A special compound composition guarantees the maintenance of elasticity properties at the same level at negative temperatures, down to –30°C.
