Description Волтаир Heavy DT-126
The Voltair Heavy DT-126 industrial tire is installed on front loaders and other special equipment used in various industries. It is characterized by increased performance on road surfaces with reduced bearing capacity, good carrying capacity, reliability, and long service life.
Directional Tread Pattern
One of the characteristic features of the tire is the design of the tread part of its tread. It is symmetrical and directional, thanks to the shape and arrangement of the blocks. In essence, the tread elements are like mud grips, arranged in a checkerboard pattern. As a result, the distance between them in the central part is minimal, which reduces rolling resistance and, consequently, the heating of the tire when moving at high speed. In the shoulder areas, the blocks are separated from each other by a significantly larger portion of the tread. This allows it not to "clog" when moving on dirt roads with high moisture content. It's also worth noting the trapezoidal shape of the blocks in the side projection. The protrusions formed in this way increase the pressure of the tread elements on the ground, which improves traction with it. It is also enhanced by special protrusions between the blocks.
Special Rubber Compound
This model is designed to operate at a fairly high speed for industrial tires - up to 40/50 km/h. Such characteristics are largely due to the use of a special rubber compound. It contains components that provide the compound with increased thermal conductivity, which reduces the heating of the tire when moving at high speed.
