The all-season Toyo Open Country R/T tire is designed for SUVs and pickups. A universal use model, effective not only on dirt roads but also on asphalt roads, as expected from All Terrain category tires. But in this case, priority is given to unstable sandy, gravelly and rocky surfaces.

The tread pattern is made in an aggressive open design with numerous high blocks. In the central part, G-shaped elements are used, the shape of which allows them to form a very wide continuous longitudinal rib. This reduces rolling resistance and wear, and increases directional stability on asphalt roads. The shoulder blocks, spaced far apart, with their long high edges, allow effective traction on off-road terrain.
