Winter non-studded tires Syron Everest 1 are one of the latest developments of this not very well-known in our country German tire manufacturer. This model was initially created for the unpredictable countries of Northern Europe and Scandinavia, but with a view to territories with a more temperate winter climate. As a result, a tire was obtained that is equally well suited for both urban conditions and suburban highways. At the same time, the model is released in several dozen sizes from 13 to 18 inches, which implies an exceptionally wide range of applications not only for most modern passenger cars but also for crossovers and minivans.
This model is equipped with a tread with a classic five-rib design. At the same time, the configuration of the tread pattern resembles the letter "V". Such a construction of the tread elements is one of the most typical and is used on most winter tires. In the center of the tread, the German tire makers placed a longitudinal rib, which is distinguished by its large width and very rigid construction. Thanks to this solution, the Syron Everest 1 tire demonstrates excellent directional stability when moving at high speed. Additionally, the rigid central rib contributes to a reduction in the tire's reaction time to steering wheel rotation.
Also, in the center of the pattern, there are two rows of individually standing blocks, executed in the form of a quadrangle. The longest edges of these blocks are arranged at a significant angle relative to the direction of movement. Such a arrangement was chosen in order to provide high traction and coupling characteristics when moving on snow. At the same time, the shorter edges are arranged strictly parallel to the direction of movement, which further improves directional stability.
Key Features of Syron Everest 1
- The V-shaped design of the directed symmetric pattern is perfectly adapted for movement on both winter surfaces and dry and wet asphalt;
- The presence of silicon-containing components in the rubber compound allows the tire to retain its elasticity at low temperatures, while also increasing the tread's resistance to wear;
- Hexagonal lamellas improve traction on both snowy and icy roads, as well as on dry surfaces;
- The uniform distribution of load across the contact patch and the optimized arrangement of the tread blocks provide a high level of comfort when driving.
