Description Stunner Winter 201 ST
The Stunner Winter 201 ST winter tire is distinguished not only by its impressive exterior appearance, but also by its excellent performance in any road conditions. This is due to the use of a number of original technical solutions in its design, some of which will be discussed below.
Double V-shaped blocks in the center of the tread
The aforementioned impressive appearance of this model is largely due to the original design of the central part of its tread. It contains a number of very wide blocks of a V-shaped form. In addition to their massive size, they are distinguished by a double structure consisting of two unequal parts. Such a design is unusually multifunctional, as it improves almost all the basic operational characteristics of the tire to some extent.
First of all, these are traction characteristics, which are at a very high level due to the significant length of the tread edges of the central blocks, as well as the large distance between them. At the same time, the edges of the tread are arranged at a strong angle with a different pitch relative to each other, which, on the one hand, improves the directional stability, and on the other hand, reduces the noise level.
Reinforced shoulder areas
In turn, the shoulder area blocks have a more straightforward rectangular shape, as well as massive sizes and a transverse arrangement. This also gives them multifunctionality. When maneuvering, wide shoulder blocks provide stability of the tire against lateral skidding, and when slowing down, they significantly reduce the length of the braking distance due to the significant length of the tread edges formed by them.
Main features of Stunner Winter 201 ST
- wide central blocks of original V-shaped form, due to their transverse arrangement and double structure, improve traction on snow, directional stability, acoustic comfort, and fuel efficiency;
- massive sizes, transverse arrangement of shoulder blocks improve grip in turns, provide a shortened braking distance;
- reliable traction on ice due to numerous lamellas;
- possibility of installing studs.
