Starmaxx SM-PL is designed to operate in the most aggressive soil conditions. It's not just a tire, but a specialized tool for equipment used on construction sites, open-pit mines, and in the municipal sector, where surfaces are rarely even and hard.
Traction and stability
The tread pattern is designed with narrow, diagonally-oriented blocks with long curved walls. This configuration is the result of multi-variant modeling. The curved walls increase the contact area when starting and braking, and also create a grip effect on the soil, preventing lateral slipping of the equipment. The model provides maximum traction properties, especially on soils with medium and low bearing capacity.
Non-stop operation
Special attention is paid to the cleaning of the tread. The designers have provided increased inter-block cavities - thought-out drainage and evacuation channels. When the wheel rotates, the centrifugal force instantly throws out dirt from them. As a result, the tread self-cleans even on waterlogged and clay soils. For equipment, this means constant traction without vibration and loss of traction.
