Simex Extreme Trekker

The Simex Extreme Trekker, a light truck universal tire with increased passability, manufactured in Malaysia, is designed for SUVs, pickups and other vehicles prepared for off-road driving.

The design of the directed symmetric tread pattern is characteristic of models designed for overcoming serious off-road conditions. The tire tread pattern consists of two rows of separate polygonal blocks and two rows of massive ground hooks located in the shoulder areas of the tread. The two central rows of blocks provide excellent traction with rocky soils, making it easier to move on rocky and rocky areas of off-road.

As mentioned earlier, the shoulder areas of the tread feature two rows of powerful ground hooks, the distinctive feature of which is the optimally selected size and configuration, providing excellent traction and coupling characteristics when driving on such unstable soils as mud or sand. In addition, the two rows of such ground hooks make it much easier to get out of even very deep ruts. It is also worth noting the remarkable self-cleaning abilities of the tread, provided by the deep pattern and large distance between the tread elements, which significantly improves the tire's passability.

The design of the sidewall and shoulder areas of the tread was developed with consideration for harsh operation in off-road conditions, which provided this most vulnerable part of the tire with a high level of protection against cuts, punctures and other damage. The rim of the Simex Extreme Trekker tire is designed to prevent foreign objects from getting between the disk and the rim, and a special rubber rim in this part of the tread significantly reduces the likelihood of the tire self-disassembling at low pressure. The frame is reinforced with 4 layers of nylon fibers, which made it possible to provide the tire with high strength and elasticity even at low pressure. For additional protection against various aggressive influences, the frame was reinforced with two layers of Kevlar fibers, improving the tire's resistance to deformation.
