Description Sava Intensa HP2
The summer tire Sava Intensa HP2 for passenger cars is positioned by the manufacturer as a replacement for the Intensa HP model, which has proven itself to be the best. It differs from its predecessor in improved traction properties on wet surfaces, acoustic comfort, and fuel efficiency.
The tread pattern is asymmetrical and contains several original technical solutions. One of them is the sickle-shaped grooves in the central part. These elements have expanded functionality. In addition to water drainage, they also enhance directional stability at high speeds. Another innovation is the lamellas in the shoulder area on the outside, made in the shape of tree leaves. In addition to increasing longitudinal traction on wet surfaces, these elements also reduce the level of noise and vibrations on uneven roads. Compared to its predecessor, the weight of the tire has been significantly reduced. To achieve this, the carcass and breaker had to be made entirely of synthetic cord. At the same time, the use of spiral seamless winding made it possible to significantly increase the stiffness of the structure and reduce its heating during prolonged high-speed driving:
Key features of Sava Intensa HP2
- sickle-shaped grooves on the inside of the tread increase directional stability at high speeds;
- lamellas in the shape of tree leaves in the shoulder area on the outside improve acoustic comfort;
- synthetic carcass and breaker, and their seamless spiral winding, reduce the weight of the tire and its heating during prolonged high-speed driving.
