Description Samson GR-T2
Samson GR-T2 — a commercial-class tire designed for long-haul cargo transportation. The model confidently holds a heavy trailer on the highway and is distinguished by an increased mileage.
Three-ribbed center
In the central part, a 3-ribbed scheme with wavy elements is implemented. Each block has additional notches. When driving on asphalt, they work like lamellas, increasing the traction properties. The result is that the traction force increases without losing directional stability at speeds up to 100 km/h.
Shoulder zone as a power base
The "shoulders" are fully closed — this is a fundamental solution. A solid rubber mass forms a rigid ring that:
- expands the effective contact area;
- prevents the sidewall from buckling in turns on uneven terrain;
- reduces the risk of small stones getting stuck between the blocks.
As a result, the model demonstrates predictable handling.
Compound recipe and internal structure
The rubber compound contains an increased proportion of polymers. This provides resistance to cracks and abrasion. The carcass is all-steel, with two breaker strips made of ultra-high-strength steel. This architecture withstands local overloads of up to 40% above the nominal value without breaking. At the same time, the elasticity of the carcass is selected to dampen peak loads from driving over irregularities.
Key features of Samson GR-T2:
- standard installation on commercial cargo vehicles – trailer axle;
- three-ribbed block structure of the center with additional notches increases the number of traction edges, providing a confident start and braking;
- a dense closed shoulder belt and a rubber compound with a high modulus of elasticity effectively resist damage.
