The non-studded tire Sailun Ice Blazer WSL2 was developed in close cooperation with leading world manufacturers, as well as taking into account operation in harsh winter conditions of Northern Europe, Scandinavia, and Russia. This model, while maintaining the cost at a familiar level for Chinese tires, differs in advanced technical solutions. The tire is produced in several dozen of the most popular sizes from 14 to 18 inches.
This model is equipped with a tread having a V-shaped directional pattern, which has a very aggressive appearance. Thanks to two wide longitudinal grooves, the tread has a clear division into the central part and the shoulder zones.
In the central part of the tread, there are three longitudinal ribs. The rib located in the center has a solid structure, and the other two have a multitude of separate blocks. The rigid structure of the central longitudinal rib, in combination with massive sizes, provides high directional stability, agility, and reduced rolling resistance.
The structure of the other two ribs, located nearby, is very original. All blocks of these ribs are arranged in groups, three in each. In essence, these groups are very massive blocks that have a multiply increased number of edges for traction. Thanks to this original design solution, Chinese tire manufacturers were able to significantly improve traction on winter surfaces.
Another distinctive feature of the Sailun Ice Blazer WSL2 tire is its excellent elasticity even at low temperatures. This was achieved by including special polymeric components in the rubber compound. Despite the increased softness of the rubber, the tire has excellent handling on dry asphalt, thanks to a large number of self-locking lamellas.
Main features of Sailun Ice Blazer WSL2
- Ideal traction on any winter surface due to a significantly optimized V-shaped directional symmetrical tread pattern design;
- Excellent directional stability and good agility are provided by the rigid structure of the central part of the tread;
- Low noise level due to the placement of all tread elements with a variable pitch;
- Excellent traction on snow is provided by the block structure of the tread pattern, which provides a large number of edges for traction.
