The WestLake SW612 winter tire is designed for compact passenger cars. The model is adapted for urban conditions, in which it demonstrates improved handling and traction, as well as a shorter braking distance.
Improved handling on slippery surfaces
The tire's tread pattern features a fairly open design. It contains numerous blocks separated by wide drainage grooves. They have a complex polygonal shape, increasing the number of edges formed by them. This significantly improves handling and traction, especially on slippery surfaces and when maneuvering.
Confident behavior in snow
The shoulder blocks are characterized by increased length and transverse arrangement. When driving in loose snow, these features turn them into virtually full-fledged lugs, providing reliable traction.
Braking efficiency
The tread pattern is literally covered with narrow slits, located just a few millimeters apart. All of them are directed transversely, as are the formed traction edges. The ultimate result of this solution is a manifold increase in the effectiveness of the tread in the longitudinal direction. This is most evident when braking on slippery surfaces.
