The all-season Saffiro Maxtrac A/T tire is designed for use on SUVs and pickups. It represents a classic example of models in the All Terrain category, being intended for operation in mixed conditions.

The tread pattern has a typical layout for tires in this category, with a large number of blocks and wide longitudinal grooves. Its essence lies in optimizing the design and location of the grooves to increase the efficiency of these elements when removing water and its mixture with soil particles and snow from the contact patch. This feature is further enhanced by the use of so-called Bite edges - zigzag edges of the blocks, which improve traction properties on slippery and unstable surfaces.
