Росава TRL-501

The commercial tire Rosava TRL-501 is a specialized tire product designed for specific operating conditions. What they are, can be guessed by the size range, presented by only one option - 155/70R13. This model is designed for trailers and semi-trailers with small carrying capacity, designed for operation at speeds not exceeding 140 km/h.

Low weight

Since the tire is not designed for high-speed use, the developers had the opportunity to reduce its weight without compromising its driving qualities. This was achieved through the use of a cord made of synthetic materials, as well as progressive winding methods, which ensured a more dense arrangement of threads. In addition to the low weight, such a carcass is distinguished by high resistance to impact loads and allows the tire to well "keep its shape" under the influence of multidirectional acceleration forces. This significantly improved the stability of the tire's traction properties, especially during deceleration. However, the main advantage of reducing the weight of the carcass and the tire as a whole was a significant reduction in rolling resistance, which had a positive effect on fuel efficiency and service life.

Acoustic comfort

In motion, this tire cannot be called noisy. Acoustic comfort is provided mainly by technical solutions in the design of the tread pattern. It is characterized by an S-shaped arrangement of blocks, which prevents the formation of resonant noises. In addition, most of the edges of these elements have an inclination relative to the direction of movement, which also has a positive effect on acoustic comfort.

Stable traction properties

Another characteristic feature of the tire that manifests itself in motion is the stability of its traction properties. It is preserved even in unfavorable road conditions, which was achieved by applying a set of measures in the development of the tread pattern design. Its S-shape maximally increases the area of the tread portion in contact with the road surface. At the same time, its shapes and sizes change practically not at all due to the increased stiffness of both the breaker and the blocks located along the edges of the tread. They also prevent the tire from skidding sideways during maneuvering and longitudinal locking of the wheel during braking.

Effectively fights aquaplaning

The used tread pattern design has another undeniable advantage. Due to its openness, it contains a large number of drainage grooves. At the same time, the transversely arranged elements have a significant inclination, which allows them to use centrifugal forces that arise during wheel rotation when working. This significantly increases the speed of water circulation through them, which allows the tread to more effectively combat aquaplaning.
