The Roadstone Winguard Ice SUV winter tire is an identical copy of the same-name model from the South Korean company Nexen. It, in turn, was developed based on a tire for passenger cars, which has proven itself on them in the best possible way. This is especially evident during longitudinal accelerations, i.e., during acceleration and braking.

The V-shaped drainage grooves located in the very center of the tread perform other functions. The minimum width allows them to serve as a support point for the blocks located here. At the same time, their arrow-shaped form and massive size give them stability in three planes. The practical result of such a solution is improved stability of the tire's coupling properties, which, in turn, makes it easier to control the vehicle in unfavorable weather conditions, as well as when driving at high speeds.

The aforementioned drainage system has another significant advantage. It demonstrates high efficiency in removing water and heavy snow masses from the contact patch. Universality is ensured by two factors - the increased number of longitudinal grooves, up to 4, and the significant internal volume of these drainage elements, as well as the transverse grooves in the shoulder areas of the tread.
