Rauffan Astrar R2

The Rauffan Astrar R2 model is a summer tire from a Chinese manufacturer. It is designed for drivers who do not want to choose between a "sharp steering wheel" and quietness in the cabin.

Tread zones

An asymmetric architecture is used here with a clear functional separation. The tread is divided into three specialized zones:
The central sector is reinforced with longitudinal ribs of minimal flexibility. They are responsible for directional stability on straight roads. The tire holds the lane well and does not require steering correction at highway speeds.

Acoustic architecture

A special block arrangement is applied. This disrupts sound waves and reduces the perceived noise in the cabin. You get comfort on country roads without an annoying background.

Braking dynamics and economy

A short braking distance is the result of the joint work of the drainage system and the compound. During emergency braking from 80 km/h on a wet surface, the tire demonstrates predictable behavior without skidding. An additional bonus is reduced rolling resistance.
