Predator New Mutant X-MT – is a "muddy" summer tire, specifically designed for SUVs and crossovers. It successfully combines the qualities of a highway tire and an off-road model, making it a universal solution for drivers who need to confidently drive on both asphalt and rough terrain. Such a balance of characteristics became possible due to the use of computer modeling of the tread, which allowed optimizing every detail of the design.
The working surface of the tire is represented by numerous block structures with uneven edges. On their surface, there are lamellas that form additional gripping edges. This solution provides reliable fixation of the contact patch and stable traction, both on dry asphalt and on dirt roads. The wide shoulder areas are made of a more dense compound and are supplemented with open channels. This increases the stability of the vehicle when maneuvering, improves directional stability, and reduces the risk of lateral skidding. In addition, the stepped structure of the tread blocks contributes to effective self-cleaning, preventing the "clogging" of the pattern when driving on viscous or wet soil. An enhanced compound with increased resistance to abrasive wear is used in production. Thanks to this, the tire demonstrates a long service life, maintaining its operational characteristics.
