The Powertrac Prime March H/T summer tire is installed on crossovers and SUVs. It is positioned by the manufacturer as a High Terrain category model, being the most effective on paved roads. In such conditions, it is favorably distinguished by its reliability on wet surfaces, predictable behavior in complex situations, reduced fuel consumption, and noise level.
The tread pattern has an increased number of lamellas. Narrow slits form hundreds of additional edges that help the tire grip the wet surface better, especially when accelerating and decelerating. At the same time, wide longitudinal grooves in the central part prevent aquaplaning, reducing the likelihood of this effect to a minimum. It's worth noting the presence of water-dispelling elements of original curved shape in the central part. They additionally increase resistance to aquaplaning. Large blocks are located on the edges of the tread. Due to their transverse stiffness, these elements improve handling accuracy when maneuvering and prevent uneven wear.
