Winter tire for passenger cars Onyx NY-W703 is designed with consideration of the complex climatic conditions of the northern parts of China and Russia. It is characterized by improved traction and coupling properties on snow, reliability in handling on icy roads, fuel efficiency, and high mileage.
The tread pattern is made in the so-called "Scandinavian" design with a solid arrow-shaped rib in the middle. This rigid element reduces rolling resistance, prevents abrasive wear, and improves handling accuracy and directional stability. The blocks next to it are arranged in groups in such a way that when moving, they form elongated high transverse edges. They provide high traction and braking force on snow. The protrusions on the sidewalls of the shoulder blocks further improve coupling on such a surface.
