Silent MultiZone tread pattern
To a significant extent, the high level of acoustic comfort offered by this tire is due to the use of an asymmetric tread pattern with a Silent Multizone design. The essence of the technology lies in the special arrangement of elements on the inner and outer sides of the tire's tread. This minimizes the risk of resonant vibrations from rolling when the wheels rotate. This feature is especially pronounced when driving on "rough" asphalt. This solution improves the even distribution of pressure in the contact patch, increasing the tread's resistance to abrasive wear.
Reliability on poor roads
Some of the technical solutions used in the tire were "borrowed" from off-road tires. This refers to the "aramid shield" technology, which involves the presence of special fibers made of the same synthetic material in the sidewall structure. This significantly increases the tire's resistance to mechanical damage. In addition, some of the drainage grooves contain special protrusions that prevent small stones from getting stuck in the tread, increasing the tire's passability on poor roads.
